  1. i am always surprised that you are a football fan.

did you know i have never in my life watched a football game... or even one period/quarter/half (or whatever they call it) of a football game?

so do you watch college ball or professional?

  2. votemom: I pretty much watch whatever's on. :-) I am more into pro than college, but I enjoy watching college too. There are so many more teams to follow in college, that makes it hard, but it's a lot of fun because of all the rivalries, etc. I can't believe you have never watched a single quarter (two quarters in a half) of football! Will that change this year since you have a college aged son at a pro football college? There is so much strategy and skill involved. I just love it! It's also a throw back to my childhood when I would watch with my dad. I fell in love with football originally because I loved being with my dad. I'm hoping to pass on my obsession to at least one of my children. ;-)

  3. I enjoy watching football also, especially since the Jacksonville Jaguars were brought to town. I also enjoy college and the rivalry games are the best.

    Any favorite teams?

  4. Pam,

I love football, too. However, I am a college fan. Boomer Sooner!!!

You know, though, our kids just don't get it. In fact, Saturday, Brawn stuck his head out of his room and around the corner into the living room. He said hesitatingly "is that what I think it is?" to which I heartily said "YOU BET! FOOTBALL!!!" His head and shoulders fell with a sigh, and he slinked (?) back to his room.

Harry and I, with our whooping and hollering (cheering) has always embarrassed the boys. I just don't get it! And the weird thing is, Brawn would make an awesome and fearless linebacker!?!? Oh, well. God must have other plans for him. That's okay with me, though it would have been fun to see him in crimson and cream some day!
