~ After five weeks in, Son G had the stent removed from his tear duct this week. The stitches have all dissolved and you can barely tell anything happened. Still so very thankful that his freak accident did no damage to his eyesight!
~ Very thankful for the space in the back of our Suburban. Love having a place for all the groceries!
~ I'm so thankful for my husband. I love that he turns to God in hard times. I love that he is so responsible and doesn't shirk from hard things.
~ I'm thankful that the end of the school year is in sight!!!
~ I'm thankful for good books. Finished a riveting one last night (stayed up too late, but couldn't put it down!)
~ I'm thankful for my beautiful daughter, who turns 15 next week. What a joy these past 15 years have been!
~ I'm thankful for our tax refund! (Lord willing, it means we can take a road trip vacation this summer)
what book - plz share!
ReplyDeleteIt was *Wisdom Hunter* by Randall Arthur. It is not new. It was written in 1991 as a reaction to legalistic christianity which the author saw as a reaction to the culture of the 60's and 70's. It is, in parts, a little too "preachy" for my taste, but the underlying plot was compelling, and doesn't come to fullness until the very end of the book. Hence, my trouble putting it down! I own it if you want to borrow. Picked it up super cheap at Family Christian.
