We have several nativity scenes. The nice one that's for looking only, as well as wooden or fabric ones in each of the children's bedrooms. We also have a plastic nativity scene that lives under our tree during December, and the children have so much fun playing with this and arranging the figures. We've had it since our oldest was a toddler and it's been much loved. Translated, that means that duct tape now holds the roof of the cardboard stable together. We got our tree today, so this was the day the plastic nativity set came out. There was much excitement over this, as the first picture shows!
I have a few small nativity sets around here. I'd love a real set since that is the reason for the season. One day...
ReplyDeleteBTW, are you the anonymous commenter with the opposum last year???? =)

Oh shoot Laurie, did I forget to sign my name again??? Yes, that was me.
ReplyDeleteOur nice nativity set was partly a Christmas gift from my in-laws 10 years ago when our oldest was a baby. They bought half and we bought the other half. So maybe you can ask for one as a gift??
Your house looks wonderful! Great job with the decorating. We got our tree Saturday also...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. Love you! Rosie
