Washington vacation - family trip to Seattle

Our "little" family of 7 also took a day trip to Seattle.  We rode one of the big Pacific Northwest ferries on the way there, and that was a lot of fun!  Beautiful, sunny weather, an absolutely perfect day for a big ferry ride!

First stop in Seattle....Pike Street Market!

And a visit to the *very* first Starbucks ever.

Then we walked down to the pier to ride on the Seattle Great Wheel.

It was totally worth it.  If you are ever in Seattle, I highly recommend it!

It was a wonderful day!  I am so thankful for the opportunity to make these wonderful memories with our children, especially since we are nearing the time when perhaps not all of our adult children will be able to vacation with us.  Grateful.
