D is for Donut

This week instead of meeting in someone's home, our co-op met at an apple orchard. We could have done A is for apple, or P is for pumpkin, but it was D week, so we did D is for donut. It was perfect fall weather for this wonderful field trip!

We went on a wagon ride.....




.....through the apple orchards.....


....to the pumpkin patch!






When we got back to the farmyard, we read books about donuts.


And looked at animals.


It was a lovely time for siblings.....





....and for friends.





The little ones chased each other around the farmyard and climbed the fence.


We finally got to the DONUT part of the day!! Yum!
