Okay, this one needs a few words. We measured son L on Easter Sunday to see how he compared to his 6'5" cousin when the cousin was L's age. We had measured him just 11 days prior, so I did not expect any change. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. He grew 3/4 of an inch in 11 days!! He is now 5' 10.5". He passed me around Thanksgiving.... wonder how much longer til he passes my husband?

Wow! That is a lot of growth in a short time!
I have a friend whose son grew 1 inch in 2 weeks. You should keep measuring him. She only knew because she measured him, then, unrelated, bought him new church pants which seemed to shrink tremendously after the firs wash so she measured the pants. Minimal shrinkage, so she measured her son. One complete inch 14 days after the first measurement.
