Overheard....

This morning our son C came up to me and whispered very solemnly, "I know the D word."

"You do?"

"Yes, I know the D word and the F word."

"Oh, can you say them to me?"

"You mean, you want me to say them outloud?"

"Yes, I do. Say them softly."

"Well, I don't know the F word, I just know there is an F word. But the D word is....."

he leans in to me very conspiratorily,

"....daughter of the devil."
