It was Little Man. He ended up spearing the palm of his hand. He cried for a long time, poor baby. There was some bleeding, and some swelling, but we opted not to take him to the Dr. Upon close examination it appeared to be not that deep and we cleaned it out really well with hydrogen peroxide and put a bandaid on it. With the potential of unemployment looming again, I am once again questioning every single purchase! 3 days later and it's healing nicely, so I think we made the right decision.
If it makes you feel any better, Grant fell on a pencil on his knee and the lead broke off in his skin and we DID take him to the doctor and she cleaned it and put a band-aid on it and said the lead will either come out or it won't. So I, for one, think you made the right decision. :-)
I am a happy wife and mother of 4 young adults and one teen in heaven. We homeschooled all of our children all the way through, which gave us 20 years of homeschool experiences and memories to look back on with gratitude. As I learn to live with grief at the loss of our youngest son, I am striving to continue to "journey with joy."

I hope the injury wasn't too bad.
Oh no!
That doesn't sound good. Was it one of the kids or was it you?
