Overheard.....

The children noticed a sign at McDonald's that said "drive thru open 24 hours", so this evening we were talking about how people work different shifts so that no one person is up and working that whole 24 hours.

Me: "Some people work there during the day and then they go home, and some people work there during the evening and then they go home, and other people come at night and work there all night long."

Little Man: "You mean they are nocturnal?"
